Rambo’s owner passed away and he is now looking for his new forever home. He seems to respond well to training, walks well on a leash, takes treats only when given permission and is housebroken. When he’s not investigating or playing, Rambo’s pretty much unflappable – nothing fazes him. He barks very little - mainly to alert the household of something and even then only a few times. He RARELY barks outside. Rambo pays little attention when other dogs bark at him. Rambo will need a calm assertive new owner – as a typical Akita, he bonds closely with one person and can be a little hesitant with new people. He tends to growl if he’s uncomfortable and has given warning “nips” in his 3 years. Rambo is on medication for year round allergies and will need follow-up care with a veterinarian to keep this in check.
Rambo has papers, but uncertain if he is actually registered.
