**Meet Tashi — a warrior in whiskers and wonder!** 

 Tashi is a baby calico kitten with a heart bigger than her battles. She came into this world with an injury to her tiny mouth, but this little fighter never gave up. Through gentle care and a whole lot of determination, she healed up beautifully — revealing the spirited and snuggly fluffball she was always meant to be.

 Along the way, Tashi also tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). While that might sound intimidating, it's important to note that at Tashi's age its highly unlikely she is truly FIV+ as she is most likely carrying FIV antibodies from her mother which causes a snap test to read positive, only a retest at 6months of age will tell us for sure if she is truly -/+. If she is actually FIV+ the good news is FIV+ cats can live healthy, happy lives , even with FIV- cats — especially with a safe indoor home, good nutrition, and regular vet visits. Tashi’s sparkle hasn’t dimmed one bit.
